Crashing waves & windswept headlands, a, rocky, almost surreal moon-like landscape, so rugged and yet so beautiful. This is the Granite Coast of the Atlantic, the "Pennant Granite Barrens". Join one of our naturalist guides on this invigorating half-day coastal hike that introduces the geology, climate & ecology of this very special coastal environment.
Learn the story behind the giant boulders that litter the landscape, the dwarfed trees that cling to the headlands, and the insect-eating plants that lurk in boggy lowlands awaiting unsuspecting prey. Our journey ends (and sometimes starts) in the picturesque fishing village of Prospect
